It’s A Dog’s Life and that’s OK!
Greetings from Clayton! My name is Miss Mattie and I live in a highrise in Clayton, Missouri. I am a Yorkshire Terrier but I’m just like my mom, I’ll tell you my weight but not my age!! I am excited to write my first blog! A few years ago my mother, Melissa R. moved to Clayton from Wildwood. I used to be in charge of protecting (despite my size of 6 pounds I am quite large) the 7 acres of hilltop in Wildwood. That was pretty tough because there was this family of deer that just kept coming back! They were eating all of my mom’s plantings and it was a full time job to keep them away. And there was this red tail hawk…
So now I guard Clayton/Hanley/Wydown roads in Clayton. Much easier! From my perch on the 12th floor those little cars are my only problem now! Oh except for that hawk - He Followed ME! I just can’t believe it! It’s gotta be that same bird… So anyway, Clayton is so much fun! Almost all of the other dogs walk their person everywhere! I especially like walking just down Hanley to My Starbucks! And there is this bakery named Lake Forest on Clayton Road that I go to also! This nice man comes out and talks to me while my mom or dad buys some ooey gooey butter cake! Sometimes I even get samples! The other place that I really LOVE is Davis Place Antiques near the bakery on Clayton Road. I just love Mark and Ginger!
I have enjoyed my dog blog today! I am new to blogging but since my mom is a Clayton Realtor I get lonely sometimes and she thinks that this and more walks will help! Until next time, Miss Large and in Charge Mattie
